ADMISSION RULES
Admission Guidelines
Admissions are granted strictly based on availability of seats in the respective classes. Parents who wish to enrol their children must first register their names at the school office. Please note that registration only makes the child eligible for the admission test and interview — it does not guarantee admission.
Important Points to Note:
- Before applying, parents or guardians are advised to carefully read the rules and guidelines mentioned in the school prospectus. The registration form are available at the school office.
- As the number of seats in each class is limited, admissions will be offered strictly on the basis of merit.
- Students coming from other schools will be required to appear for a pre-admission test. Based on their performance and assessment by the Principal, they will be placed in the appropriate class.
- For Nursery admissions, parents must submit the birth certificate. For Primary and Higher Classes, a Transfer Certificate (TC) or School Leaving Certificate from the previous school, along with the latest progress report, is mandatory.
- The Transfer/School Leaving Certificate must be duly countersigned by the Education Board or authority from where the student is transferring.
- The details entered in the admission form must match exactly with those mentioned in the birth certificate and/or school leaving certificate, especially the date of birth.
Promotion Policy
To be eligible for promotion to the next class, a student must secure a minimum of 40% marks in each subject and at least 50% overall aggregate. However, the final decision regarding promotion rests solely with the Principal.
Please note:
- No re-examination will be conducted for students who remain absent during any exam, regardless of the reason.
- If a student fails to qualify as per the consolidated final result, his/her name will be struck off the school rolls effective 31st March.
Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTM)
Parent-Teacher Meetings are a regular part of the school calendar and are held after every Formative and Summative Assessment. These sessions provide a valuable platform for teachers to interact directly with parents and discuss the academic progress, behaviour, and overall development of their children.
Parents are also encouraged to share their concerns, suggestions, or feedback during these meetings. Such open communication plays a vital role in strengthening the partnership between home and school for the benefit of the student.
